The main rig's are the Yaesu FT-1000D or the ELECRAFT K3. I upgraded the FT-1000D with the Inrad Roofing Filter Mod and installed Inrad 2.8kHz filters. Also adjusted was the Transmit Carrier Point to take full advantage of the wider Inrad crystal filters and capacitor changes. The Amplifier is an Alpha 87A. The Elecraft K3 is a new addition to the shack. It was won at the ARRL Convention in Taos, New Mexico in August 2011. I added most of the K3 upgrades and now have a wonderful transceiver.

On the Rohn 55 tower I have an old Hy-Gain LJ-204BA for 20 meters up 70 feet (click picture on the left for a larger view). I also have a Cushcraft Boomer with 6 Elements on a 34-foot boom for 6 meter operations at 76'.
For 40 and 80 meters, 2 - phased ground mounted 63' vertical's from Zero-Five Antenna. The S.W. vertical has 5,000 feet (1524 meters) of ground radials. The N.E. vertical has 1500 feet of ground radials due to space limitations.
The Microphone is a Heil PR-40. The Heil PR 40 represents a completely new dynamic microphone technology designed by Bob Heil, K9EID for a wide range of professional applications such as sophisticated recording, live sound, and commercial broadcast. It maintains the 25 year Heil Sound tradition of superbly natural voice articulation.
I also have the EQplus & 8 Band EQ/Noise Gate by W2IHY to enhance my audio and clean up the quality of the signal.
